IRC Properties Inc., a located at 35/F Rufino Pacific Tower, 6784 Ayala Avenue, Makati City, was incorporated on February 24, 1975 in the Philippines primarily to engage in the acquisition, reclamation, development or exploration of land, forests, minerals, oil, gas and other resources. The company initially ventured in oil exploration activities and drilled two (2) wells in Southern Mindoro and Sulu Seas.
Earlier, on June 24, 1976, the company acquired Apo Island. This is an 896-hectare island and is located in Barangay Bintuan, Coron, Palawan. Both properties are titled and registered in the name of Interport Resources Corporation. The company has completely shifted from oil exploration activities to real estate development and is now concentrating its efforts and resources to developing these two substantial real estate assets.
The company has one affiliate, Interport Development Corporation (IDC), a 100%-owned subsidiary where future acquisitions of assets of the company may be made. This subsidiary previously owned a 276-square meter office unit at the 11th floor of the PSE Centre located in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, which used to be the office of the company.
